Mini Christmas Clean-Up

{Photos from my very outdated cell phone camera.}

Last project for 2016.
Creating some mini vintage ornaments and boxes.
A few more things to tuck into the attic.

I used beads from our stash.
16 little boxes are in various stages of production.

{These fall somewhere between 1:12 and 1:6 scale -- hoping they'll work for both.}

Cheers to the New Year & hoping that I can find a few more minutes each day for miniatures.

December Minis

Mini wreaths made with beads, glue, and tiny ribbons.
So easy. So fun.

A great project to use up all my extra beads from this project.
So they really are like life-size vintage ornament wreathes,
and I'm just using up my stash of mini vintage ornaments.

Squint Box

Enjoying some miniatures-in-the-mail fun.
Little minis from miniature artisans  --

Looking forward to 'cozying-in' on fall and winter --
Those are my most productive mini months.
I'm so excited to be working on this project.

I signed up for a 6 month subscription to Squint Box.
{The photo above shows 2 or 3 months of what I've been sent.}

Mini Books

The Country Bunny is one of our favorite Easter books.
{I thought there should be one -- or a few -- in mini at our house!}
Making books today.

For the Love of Books!

The September issue of Miniature Collector is out!

You can see one of my mini projects featured in the Kids' Corner.

There is now a write-up in Miniature Collector
showing you how to make my custom bookends!

If you love minis creating/collecting this is such a great magazine.

These were so fun to make --
I used various charms, minis {birds} and beads {A-Z} to show several different ideas.
The possibilities are endless!

The thing I love about these custom bookends,
is that you can make them to go with your dollhouse style or theme.

Here are the finished products of some of my bookends.

Happy mini books with their bookends!

{Thank you Miniature Collector for publishing my custom bookend tutorial!}

Making Doll Hangers!

Not as mini as I usually post here,
but I've been making doll hangers {Blythe/Barbie size}.

The 'mini' minis are on the back burner right now --
finishing up a Blythe dollhouse and organizing the 18" doll things.

You can read about the Blythe collection at A Dozen Little Dresses.
You can read about our 18" dolls [and their house] at An American Girl at Play.
