Pink Beachside Bungalow Exterior

The Pink Beach Bungalow is finally finished!
Here she is before she was decorated for autumn & Christmas.

If  you've followed along with my adventure,
you saw my first attempt at beach signs here.
This sign now had a permanent home on the porch!

It took me forever to decide how to do the porch.
The house number is a significant date to our family.
I added the door knobs recently.

The glass panel in the door is going to be a stained glass window of some sort.
I've read a few tutorials...I just need to find a design I love -- something beach related.
Until I find that perfect design, clear glass will have to do.

These adorable nautical pillows are from Little Things By Anna's Etsy shoppe.

Mini House Wreath

Here is a project I made using mini houses --
Inspired by the Martha Stewart Dec/Jan 2014 Magazine cover.

I found the mini houses on clearance -- at JoAnn's Hobby & Craft.
You can see my favorite projects of 2015 here --
a few of my projects {including this wreath} are mini inspired.

Looking forward to a quiet January and a little more free time to work on minis.

Pink Beachside Bungalow in the Fall

It was fun to decorate the bungalow for Autumn.
Lots of little pumpkins and leaves.
{Notice the little pumpkin pie cooling...}

Winter will be here before you know it!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

Truck in Sea Foam Green

Originally, I bought this darling little truck to be part of my
mini collection -- to use in an autumn scene.
{I thought sea foam green & orange pumpkins would look so fun together.}

On a whim, I filled her with some mini bottlebrush trees, and the rest is history!
This little truck is now a Christmas decoration --
and the inspiration behind my pink and sea foam green Christmas kitchen.

I've got my eyes open --
looking for sea foam green and pastel pink ornaments everywhere I go!

Beachside Bungalow/Cottage

A few years ago we were at a Dollhouse Festival and I bid on the Pink Cottage --
I honestly didn't think I would end up bringing her home,
but I did.

She has sat around for a couple of years while ideas percolated and I gathered little treasures.

I started by making a few small signs {pictured above} and ordering a few items online.

I made my first attempt at a patio --

and a stone pathway.

{An amateur for sure, but I'm having so much fun.}

I thought it would also be fun to put in a few sentimental minis here and there.

{little stepping stones -- with special dates}

A little peek inside the 'nautical nursery'.

And another potting table photo -- just because I love it!

It looks like the porch swing could use a few cushions.

I need to finish the kitchen, the living room, and this little space as you come up
the stairs -- I'll share the interior when I'm finished.

We'll be dipping our toes in the Pacific AND the Atlantic before the end of the year!
{I can't wait!}
I love the ocean, the beach, and this Little Pink Beach Bungalow!

Nautical Nursery Peek

Before I can begin working on the Winter Bleu Cottage
I need to finish the Little Pink Beach Cottage.

The cottage is only 3 rooms (and the stairway cubby),
so I'm limited on what I can actually do.

I decided on --
 a kitchen,
a living room,
and a combined nursery/bedroom.

I just finished the 'nautical nursery' and will be adding more photos soon.
The kitchen and living room are almost finished.
The majority of the work I have left to complete is outside the house -- patio, lawn, etc.

**

Back to the nursery:

I painted the baby's dresser to match the room.
I made the cute 'twinkle twinkle' sign
after a friend brought me mini sand dollars and a tiny starfish.
{I plan on using the sand dollars in the living room.}

The rug & books are an Etsy purchase -- I'll try to locate the seller's shoppe info.
The fun beach bag was from LittleThingsByAnna.

I love the mini goldfish bowl.

The Pink Beach Cottage/Bungalow has been a fun project!
I should hurry and finish the exterior, so I can decorate it for Autumn/Halloween!

Winter Bleu Cottage

Here is my miniature project for the winter months -- Winter Bleu Cottage.
Good bones but a lot of work to be done on her {inside and outside}.
I'm hoping to have her completed by Christmas 2017 --

WHICH MEANS I MUST FINISH THE LITTLE PINK BEACH BUNGALOW SOON!
